About Her
I am fun, warm, attractive, fit, affectionate, like touching, honest, direct, creative, adventurous and have a sense of humour.
I am easy to get on with, kind, supportive, loving and flexible. I do get things wrong from time to time, but I also know how to say I am sorry.
I have a career, am hard working, capable and independent. I look after myself and my family well. However, I miss the companionship, affection, closeness and love which I had before my husband passed away (positive baggage).
In case I sound like a woman's libber, I like men and get on well with them. I like a man to have nice manners and it is nice to have a man that sorts out things that go bump in the night, changes the tyre . . . Hopefully I respond with the same courtesy. It is not a train smash if you are not the door opening type. Consideration and respect go much deeper than that.
I enjoy camping, gardening, walking, running, forests and the beach. I like to be doing things outdoors and I love and notice the detail - landscape, plants, birds and wildlife. Getting dirty and sweaty is no problem. On the flip side, I am feminine and groomed, but life is too short to waste time having nails done at a salon.
What else? I am a happy and positive person and like harmony. I have two children of 19 and 22, who I love and am close to. Friends and family are important to me and I treasure the relationships I have with the people who are close to me. I am messy and have a labrador (healthy) that sheds hair.
Music favourites include Clapton and Dire Straits. In a vibey mood AC/DC and Led Zeppelin can belt it out. I like quieter stuff too. I have favourites from almost all categories of music. Sorry - I don't get heavy opera.
I enjoy design, colour, art.
I am hospitable, enjoy making food and am easy going and casual about entertaining. Friends and family of all age feel at home in my home. I am unlikely to prepare a formal sit down dinner, but would do it if I was doing it with a partner.
